The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 earned an estimated $341millon (£215million) worldwide at the box office last weekend.

'It may have grossed more than £500m in box office sales across the world,' a quote from radio times.

The idea of the film came from: Stephenie Meyer. She came up with this idea one night in her dreams and she dreamed of all the 4 books.

Twilight was a novel before it was a film and the author was Stephenie Meyer. This is important because that means that the film already has an pre sold audience. So anyone who liked the book would be interested to go and see it in the cinema. Over 100 million copy's were sold and it was translated into 37different languages.

 The Director was Bill Condon he also directed Twilight breaking dawn part 1. his directed films such as Dream girls, Gods and monsters,Chicago and Kinsey. 

Twilight cost $125 million to make, made $227 million in the first week.
